Circuit Breakers

TRC produces electrical components (permanent and arc contacts) for most major circuit-breaker manufacturers. All contacts produced by TRC undergo quality testing such as ultrasonic inspection and hardness measurement. The quality control is provided by certified independent laboratories to meet the highest quality standards and secure superior performance. Our products include electrical contacts for following types of the circuit breakers: air, oil filled and SF6 circuit breakers. TRC supplies electrical components according to existing technical specifications and plans, or by reverse engineering for those that are no longer supported by the original equipment manufacturer. For the arcing contacts we use a variety of refractory materials such as Tungsten-Copper (WCu), Tungsten-Silver (WAg) and Molybdenum-Silver (MoAg) which are typically brazed to copper or Copper-Chromium alloy substrates.
